The second semester started in early January at the Weyburn Comprehensive School and students are well into the new courses.
Basketball, curling and wrestling are continuing. On January 4, WCS hosted an exhibition wrestling match between the University of Regina and Minot State University.
On January 14 the senior girls' basketball team is off to North Battleford and the senior boys will go to Estevan for tournaments.
The cheer squad is practicing hard for the upcoming "Cheer For a Cure" event to be staged at the school on January 27 and 28.
