Police received several complaints on Friday that vehicles parked in the 1100 block of Bison Avenue were damaged. Investigation found that unknown persons were walking down the street and damaged vehicles by hitting the mirrors. There are no suspects at this time.
Also on Friday, police received a report of a person shooting squirrels in the 200 block of Sixth Street. Police located the person, and the person was warned that city bylaws do not allow for firearms to be discharged within city limits.
A call was received on Sunday about a motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of Sixth Avenue South; investigation found that an unknown vehicle went through a hedge and into a yard, damaging the fence and then back through the hedge. The vehicle left the scene without contacting police or the home owner, and the investigation is continuing.

There was a report of a hit-and-run incident on Saturday. Investigation found that a vehicle was struck while parked at a business in the 1000 block of Sims Avenue, and the suspect vehicle left the scene. The investigation is continuing.
Police had a call from EMS on Thursday for police to assist with a patient in the 10 block of Campbell Crescent. Investigation found that two males had a disagreement and got into a fight, and a 31-year-old man had a broken leg as a result. The investigation is ongoing.
Police received a report on Wednesday of a child by itself in the 100 block of Sixth Street. Investigation found a parent had dropped off a child for dance lessons and left; the parent was unaware that lessons had been cancelled. Police brought the child to the police station and contacted the parents.
A van was reported stolen on Thursday from a work site in the 600 block of Fifth Street. Investigation found that an employee had used the van to take a co-worker to the hospital without other workers at the site being aware; the van was recovered and no charges are being laid.
