ASSINIBOIA - The New Year’s Eve “Rock in the New Year” at the Assiniboia Curling Club proved to be a very successful event with 12 rinks participating, and many more gathering in lounge to bring in the New Year. Ryan, Talsa, and their crew made this an enjoyable experience.

The Masters Cash Spiel was held on January 5 and 6 with eight rinks participating. The Paul Dumont rink of Lafleche emerged as this year’s champ.  The Reg Jepson foursome won the B Event, while the Ian Coghill rink won the C Event and the Mossbank gang led by Garth Ward, were the D Event winners. Thanks again to all the participating rinks and participants.

The regular leagues have reached their mid year point, and we look forward to a successful last half.
