The Atom Cougars have been practicing hard over the past couple of weeks. This past weekend, the Cougars played two home games, coming up against some very strong opposition. Friday, November 29 they hosted Beinfait in an extremely action packed game. It was a hard-fought game & very tough loss of 7-4. Goals were scored by Hayden McArthur, Kenna Hagel, Nate Robertson & Ashdynn Bradley. Gettting in on the action with assists were Cadence Chapman, Maddison Magotiaux, Drayden Arndt, Nate & Ashdynn.
Saturday the 30th, the Cougars played Kipling. The teams were pretty evenly matched & our goalie, Zane Winter stood on his head to keep the game close. The Cougars came on strong in the first period scoring 4 of their 5 total goals. Unfortunately Kipling turned it up in the 3rd and the final result was a 5-7 loss for our Cougars. Goals were scored by Coty Hofos, Kenna, Drayden, Nate & Hayden. Degan Galbraith earned an assist.
