The all-women team regularly practice at the arena, and were practising the technique of positional blocking as they tried to prevent Krista from getting by them.
The other skaters are, from left, Kara Somerville, Erica Matthews, Carrie Hembroff-Murphy and Pam Scott, just behind Krista.
Five members of the team will be taking part in the first roller derby competition of the season in Estevan on Saturday, Apr. 21, put on by the SE Sask. Roller Derby Association.
