Today is the Dec. 1 SJHL cut-down deadline and the Estevan Bruins have shaken up their roster, completing a four-player trade with the La Ronge Ice Wolves.

The Bruins have shipped centre Hudson Morrison and defenceman Tanner Clark to La Ronge for brothers Jason and Ryan Duret, both forwards. Jason, 18, has three points in nine games with the Wolves this year, while Ryan, 17, has 23 points in 23 games with the Prince Albert Mintos.

Jason finished third in Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League scoring last year with 67 points for the Mintos. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound Prince Albert native also played in a handful of games for La Ronge the past two seasons.

Morrison, 19, was off to a slow start this year and had struggled to replicate his success as a rookie last year, with five goals and nine points in 23 games.

Clark, 20, had recently been acquired from the MJHL's OCN Blizzard as the futures in the Roger Tagoona trade from last year.

A major deal, with the Bruins sacrificing a pair of veterans for a lot of potential in the Duret brothers.

Meanwhile, the Bruins are looking to wrap up their three-game road trip with a win in Kindersley today, after losing in La Ronge and North Battleford the last two nights.
