Two Estevan daycares benefitted from Sunday's SJHL regular season finale between the Bruins and Red Wings, to the tune of almost $34,000.

The Bruins auctioned off nine players' jerseys during the intermissions on Sunday, with the rest of their players' jerseys being included in a silent auction on the team's website.

A total of $33,865 was raised, which will be split evenly between the Hillcrest Early Learning Centre and the Pure Energy Learning Centre. Both centres need the funds for crucial repairs and equipment.

Michael Hengen's sweater drew the highest bid at $6,000, while Josh Jelinski and Matt Dochylo each brought in $4,000.
