Saturday, Nov. 19:

After last week's game players, coaches, parents and fans were anxious for game 2 of the season, and the Novice Cougars wouldn't disappoint. Our squad was ready and raring to go come game time, and their energy was visible to all in attendance. The team played well together, passing up the boards, skating hard and fast back to defend their zone. There were some great shots on net that wouldn't quite work out, and there were great plays and shots that would have the fans in awe of the hard work and determination of all involved. You can see the kids really coming together and playing as a team and that's fun to watch, at any age group. It would be another goalie dual and both would all but stand on their heads to stop the incoming shots from both teams.

Carnduff would get the win today, but they wouldn't get it easily, and I'm sure there will be a different outcome the next time these teams meet. The goal scorers for our team were #2 Colby Kyle (1st of many this year I'm sure), #12 Cade Bendtsen, and #16 Adrien Riddell, # 8 Coty Hofos and #14 Nate Robertson would help with an assist each. Nice job Cougars, keep skating hard, you're all in this together. You win as a team and you lose as a team.

Their next home game is Nov. 26 at 11 am, can't wait to see you at the rink, cheering hard for this awesome team!
