The new zero entry expansion comes with spray park features to ensure a fun filled day at the Crescent Point Leisure Complex.

The Fourth Annual Sink or Swim Hole-in-one Golf Classic has been set for Aug. 17 with all proceeds being given to the Crescent Point Leisure Complex.

Last year the tournament was able to raise approximately $23,000 for the pool's planned remodeling, which has finally been achieved.

The pool, however, continually has bills to be paid and it is important to have extra funds in case various unexpected expenditures come up like they did in 2012.

There has been a maximum of 18 teams of four set this year, which is less than normal, but organizers are sure the day will remain a success.

The tournament will again be held at the Carlyle Golf Course, where they have had great success in the past in fundraising for their cause.

One of the main features of the golf tournament which has developed is a chance at $20,000 on each hole. This means there is $360,000 in hole-in-one prize money to be won. Golfers will also be entered to win an iPad with case as well as many door prizes and a $1,000 travel voucher.

The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Entrants will receive an 18 hole game of golf as well as supper and a divot replacer upon registration.

Supper will be held at 6 p.m. by David and Shelley Slykhuis at Lions Park, which is a reason in itself to many for entering the tournament as the Slykhuis' are living legends when it comes to food. Extra supper tickets for non-golfers who wish to support the swimming pool in Carlyle are available at Carlyle Motor Products.

The evening will also find itself filled with a variety of silent auction items donated which will be available to be bid on.

The top two teams in the tournament will be up for $1,000 to first place and $500 to second.

It is $150 to enter for each golfer or $600 to enter a team. It is asked that you contact Pam Brown at (306)577-8616 or through email, sinkorswimgolfclassic@yahoo.ca in order to register for the day.
