Weyburn Southern Range Gold Wings goaltender Jane Kish was the recipient of the SFMAAAHL Third Star for the month of January.
Kish saw action in five games in January posting a 4 and 1 record while allowing only six goals against during the month.
Kish currently sits second in the league with a .942 save percentage and a 1.34 goals against average in 19 appearances during the 2013-14 season.
The 17-year-old has donned the pads for her hometown Gold Wings for four seasons. Kish will cap off a very successful SFMAAAHL career when the season concludes.
She set the record this month for most career wins at 37 and is fourth in minutes played at 3470 and a .931 save percentage. The Gold Wings will count heavily on Kish's experience to lead them over the remainder of the season and into the playoffs.
