I am very excited to announce that there will be a brand-new feature on the blog this season.
Starting Monday, we are launching a weekly Bruins show called Bruins Banter TV. It will be an informative but light-hearted show featuring interviews, highlights, regular segments, fun activities with players and whatever else our addled brains come up with. Suggestions are very welcome!
I will be hosting the show and Mercury web/video editor Rhys Kelso will produce it.
We're aiming for about 15 minutes per show.
The pilot episode will be released on Monday, Sept. 17. However, we're shooting for Friday as the regular release date.
Each episode will be posted here on the blog and on the Mercury's YouTube channel.
Be sure to tune in for a different kind of look at your local SJHL team.

In Bruins news, there are 30 players still in the mix at this point.
Four of the five '95s in camp have returned to midget: RW Daniel Wanner, D Edwin Hookenson, G Ryland Pashovitz and G Brett Lewchuk.
The remaining '95 is defenceman Zach Douglas. By the sound of it, he's almost a lock to stick around at this point.
