Amanda Bourassa, Brendon, Laurie and Dale LaBatte gather at Mosaic Stadium, after the Saskatchewan Roughriders won the 101st Grey Cup by defeating the Hamilton Ti-Cats 45-23. The LaBatte family is from Weyburn, and Brendon had played with the Comp Eagles before furthering his career with the University of Regina Rams and then was signed into the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. This is Brendon's second year with the Riders, and last week he was named Offensive Lineman of the Year for the CFL. Another Weyburn local, Brett Jones from the Calgary Stampeders, also won the CFL Rookie of the Year award.
