The Wings battled the second place Notre Dame Hounds on November 28 and came up with a big 3-2 victory. The Wings spotted the Hounds' two goals before rallying to take the win.

The Wings battled the second place Notre Dame Hounds on November 28 and came up with a big 3-2 victory. The Wings spotted the Hounds' two goals before rallying to take the win. Due to injuries, Weyburn was playing with four regulars out of the line up but the boys still put forth a strong effort scoring two goals in the second before getting the winner with a minute thirty to play in the third. Scoring in the second period was Donovan Lumb, assisted by Jack Carleton and Braden Rood. Weyburn's second goal was scored by Lyndon Lumb, assisted by Tucker Neuberger. Rood got the game winner with assists going to Neuberger and Kyle Crozier. Terrick Wilderman played a great game in net for the Wings, picking up the win.

On December 3, the Wings hosted the first place Swift Current Hurricanes. The boys put forth a great effort, but came up one goal short in the end falling 3-2. The Wings fell behind by two goals in the first, before trading goals with their opponent in the second period. Getting the goal for Weyburn in the second was Carleton, assisted by Brayden Leslie and Crozier. The third period saw the teams each add one more goal to their totals. Carleton got his second goal of the night with an assist from Leslie. With time winding down the Wings pulled their goalie for an extra attacker and had a couple of good chances but unfortunately couldn't find the back of the net. Billy Cuthbert had another strong game in net, while suffering the loss.
