Seven members of the Weyburn Silver Seals travelled to Humboldt on June 23 to attend the first swim meet of the season.
Bransyn Lyon won a gold medal in the 7-8 boys category, taking first in the 50 free, 25 fly, 25 free and 25 back. Madeline Bocian won a bronze medal in the 9-10 girls category, taking first in the 50 free, 100 free, second in 25 fly and third in the 25 free.
Other swimmers placing were: Emma Bitz, 9-10 girls category: first in 100 breast, second in 50 fly. Olivia Bocian, 11-12 girls category: first in 50 fly, third in 50 breast. Caitlin Davis, 13-14 girls category: second in 100 back, third in 100 free and 50 breast. Tana Wilkins, 15-16 girls category: first in 100 free, second in 100 breast, 100 back and 50 breast.
Also participating was Marissa Davis in the 11-12 girls category.
Weyburn will be hosting their meet on July 7 beginning at 8 a.m.
