The Carlyle Cougars Novice 8 & Under team, coached by Larrie Rae & Jeff Humphries consist of the following players: Caydence Chapman, Darcie Rae, Tesean Lavellee, Krimson Standingready, Everett Brown, Tyrell Dixon, Drayden Ardnt, Logan Romaniuk, Mitch Himmelspach, Colby Cuddington, Cooper Humphries, Kaysha Turner, Carson Dangstorp, Gracie Sanders & Taryn Cappo. These kids have been practicing hard and it shows. They have played two games to date.
In the season opener on November 3, the team met Redvers here in Carlyle. Carlyle won their opener 9 - 4. Our goalie Drayden Arndt did an outstanding job in net. Our goals were scored by Colby Cuddington, Caydence Chapman, Darcie Rae, Cooper Humphries and Taryn Cappo.
The team's second game, on November 10 in Carnduff resulted in a hard fought 7-8 loss. Short a couple players, everyone made an extra effort. Carnduff is a strong, fast team, but Carlyle worked hard & kept it close. Drayden Arndt played net & had some outstanding saves. Goals were scored by Colby Cuddington and Krimson Standingready.
