Congratulations to Wade's Carlyle Cougars on their win against the Stoughton Eagles this past Sunday on home ice. Jarred Valentine was in the lead for scoring with seven goals for the Cougars. Tyler Colpitts was close behind with six goals. Logan Young and Spencer Bell had two goals each, and Trey Baker contributed three goals to the mix. Good job on the hat trick, Trey!!
There was good passing and some really great plays that resulted in the goals being scored. Thanks to our goalie, Judah Wardrope, for the good saves that he made.
Earlier in the week, the Cougars lost to Arcola 11-4. In that game, Tyler Colpitts had all four goals for the Cougars! It was only 3-2 after the first, but the game got away from the Cougars in the second. Better luck next time against Arcola.
