The Saskatchewan Powerlifting Association has been holding virtual meets for the past year.

Lifters video themselves doing the lifts according to the rules of the sport and then submitted the videos to a panel of three judges who were live on Facebook with a bit of commentary.

There were eight lifters doing their videos at Olympia In Depth so they were able to do a little “mock meet” simulating a real powerlifting meet.

Fowler said he enjoyed everything but deadlifts were the hardest as they were the heaviest. He ended up doing a 32.5 kg squat, a 20 kg bench press, and a 45 kg deadlift.
