Elsie Dynna

Elsie was born in Ethelbert, MB on November 25, 1938 to Peter and Katryna Trohubiak. The family moved to Sifton, MB where Elsie was raised and received her education. After graduation, she moved to Winnipeg, MB where she furthered her education and worked at the Children’s Hospital. In 1956 she married Gordon Dynna and they moved to Weyburn. Elsie worked at the Canada Safeway from 1957 to 1979. Thereafter she worked for Century 21 for several years. In 1966 Elsie became interested in the Bible and a year later she was baptized as one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and retained that strong faith until her passing. Elsie is survived by her loving husband, Gordon Dynna, son, Lonnie Dynna, daughter-in-law, Jennifer Hogan, grandchildren, Morgan and Michael Dynna, Amber and Selina Hogan; daughter, Alphisa Thorson and her son-in-law, Wade Thorson. Elsie is also survived by her brother, John Trohubiak and her sister-in-law, Marlene Trohubiak, and her sister, Marie Burak, along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 9, at 2:00 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Weyburn, with Armond Kozak officiating.  A Private Family Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn.
