Fran was born in Flin Flon, MB along with her identical twin sister Winnifred on June 4, 1946. She lived in Flin Flon, Churchill, Brandon and back to Flin Flon where her dad retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. She then moved to Weyburn in May 1957 at the age of 11 where her father formed the present day police department and was chief for 17 years. Predeceased by her parents James (1995) and Ethel (1991) McCardle. She is survived by her husband Albert, Okotoks, AB, daughter Kerry and her daughter Kyeshia of Okotoks, AB, son James (Dana), Calgary, AB and daughter Erin and her three sons Connor and twins Christian and Kaylan, Okotoks, AB, her identical twin sister Winnifred (Jack) Forsberg, Weyburn, and their daughter Jacqui (Cory) Spence and their daughters Brogan and Brynna, Weyburn, daughter Shannon (Jacek) Krzywicki, Calgary, AB. She died Friday, April 6, 2012 after a short but courageous battle with liver cancer. She was an animal lover, especially horses and dogs, and enjoyed raising her beloved Appaloosa horses. She is survived by her two faithful dogs Scruffy and Mea. She is also survived by her cousins Shelley (Laurie) Milrod, and family, Toronto, ON, Sharon (Larry) Chop and family, Ottawa, ON, Heather (Gene) Culleton, Newmarket, ON, and Ann Charles and Bill (Pat) Hope and family, Belfast, Ireland. No funeral service was held at Frances' request. She was cremated with a family service. I will love you always as my twin and best friend. -Win
