Jan Jansen passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 16, 2012, just shy of his 71st birthday. Predeceased by his parents Jan Jansen Sr. and Derktje Jansen (nee Pijning). Jan will be missed by his children Andrea Lopez (Jansen) and Brendan (Jodi) Jansen; his grandchildren Rio Lopez, Braiden and Brody Jansen. He also leaves behind numerous friends and family members both here and in 'the old country' (Holland). Jan enjoyed his retirement years as he spent time traveling to Mexico, shopping with his friends, and visiting with his grandsons. There will be no service at Jan's request. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jan's memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
