Leonard John deVries late of Weyburn, passed away May 20, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Leonard was predeceased by his parents, Jan and Annie deVries; wife, Irene deVries; son, Dean deVries; grandson, Christopher Garling, brothers, Harry (Sybil) deVries and Brian deVries; sister, Frieda (Gerald) Pulson. Leonard will be greatly missed by his children, Judy (Larry) Olfert of Weyburn, Cindy (Dale) Garling of Lampman, Rodney (Lee) deVries of Weyburn, Bonnie (Bern) Megenbir of Weyburn, Terry (Carol) deVries of Frobisher; daughter-in-law, Lorie deVries of Weyburn; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Morris (Sandra) deVries; sisters, Violet Simmons, Winnie (Vic) Rowley; sister-in-law, Lynn deVries; special friends, Laurie Walbaum and Ed Martin as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. At Leonard’s request a private family Graveside Service will take place at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn.
