With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Julian Hoff, a true gentleman, late of Weyburn on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the age of 88 years. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Marjorie Hoff; brother, Harry; sisters: Dorothy and Bernice. Bob is survived by his loving wife Pauline Hoff, Weyburn; daughter, Gail Black, Regina; sons: Jim (Janet) Hoff, Glenavon, Bill (Gail) Hoff, Weyburn, Larry (Carla) Hoff, Regina; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Marguerite Renwick, Brandon, MB; brothers: Dave (Margaret) Hoff, Weyburn, Danny (Alice) Hoff, Lethbridge, AB; brothers and sisters-in-law along with many nieces and nephews. Bob was born on March 1, 1924 at Mair. He married the love of his life and inseparable partner, Pauline, on October 31, 1955. Bob was a proud husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and loved everyone unconditionally. He had a wonderful and lasting effect on everyone who met him and was exposed to his good natured teasing, witty humour and either his great big bearhug and kiss or handshake or both. Bob loved to fish, hunt, camp and watch just about every sport on T.V. (especially those Blue Jays). Thank you to all who helped in any way. A service of remembrance for Robert was held on Friday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m. from Grace United Church, Weyburn with Rev. M. Barnabas, officiating. Interment to follow at a later date.
