Roger Alan Campbell was born in Saskatoon on May 28t, 1930, and passed away July 8, 2017. Roger received his education at Assiniboia School and Weyburn Collegiate Institute after which Roger joined the Royal Canadian Navy (Naval Aviation).

Roger Alan Campbell was born in Saskatoon on May 28t, 1930, and passed away July 8, 2017. Roger received his education at Assiniboia School and Weyburn Collegiate Institute after which Roger joined the Royal Canadian Navy (Naval Aviation). Roger spent ten years with the RCN as a mechanic and later as a pilot aboard the HMCS Magnificent and HMCS Bonaventure. Roger then became a Journeyman Electrician, mentoring many young electricians, until his retirement. Roger and Bev (McGowan) were married in 1963 and their son Alan was born in 1966. Their cottage at Kenosee Lake saw many, many fun holidays for their extended families. Roger is survived by his son Alan (wife Joanne), grandson Jacob, his brother Bruce Campbell (wife Dodie), his sister Faye Kathol (husband Hal) and many nieces and nephew. Funeral service will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church on July 13th, 2017 at 11 a.m. followed by interment at the Grand Forks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society on behalf of Roger and Bev.
