It was also in Weyburn that she met and married Ron on October 7, 1967. Rose and Ron started their family with the arrival of son, Darren, in 1971, and daughter, Darla, in 1973. Rose enjoyed painting and craft work, but the main focus of her life was her family. She was an extremely supportive mother and grandmother, spending as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren. Family became a full-time occupation when she retired in 2003 after 36 years of service for the Sun Country Health Region. Rose cherished time spent with family and fond memories of those times will live on with all those whose lives she touched. Visitation was held at Fletcher Funeral Chapel from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 29. A funeral service was held May 29, at 2:00 p.m. from Knox Presbyterian Church, Weyburn, with Reverend Jay Song officiating. Interment followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn.
