Weyburn Humane Society launches new SUV raffle fundraiser

The Weyburn Humane Society launched their second vehicle raffle fundraiser on Friday at Barber Motors, with the grand prize to be drawn Aug. 24.

A new raffle for the Weyburn Humane Society, called “Ride for Paws: Support the Cause”, was launched on Friday afternoon at Barber Motors, with assistance from the dealership with a donation of $2,500. WEYBURN – The Weyburn Humane Society launched their second vehicle raffle fundraiser on Friday at Barber Motors.

Entitled “Ride for Paws: Support the Cause”, the organization is raffling off tickets for a 2024 GMC Terrain SUV worth over $42,000, with the main prize draw to take place on Aug. 24.

Tickets are $100 each, and will be sold online only, with no paper tickets available for this draw.

There will be two earlybird draws, for $1,000 cash on June 16, and on July 16 for $500 cash. Both of these winners will be re-entered for the grand prize draw.

The draw for the SUV will be held at Barber Motors at 1 p.m.

Tickets can be bought online at www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/weyburn-humane, or by scanning the QR code on posters located throughout the city or at ticket-selling tables available throughout the spring and summer.
