Harvest has all but wrapped up for producers in the province as 99 per cent of the crop is now combined, according to Saskatchewan Agriculture for the week ending October 23.

With influenza season around the corner, the Five Hills Health Region is gearing up for it by opening its flu clinics as of October 23. About 750 immunizations were given on the first day of the clinics with 220 given in Assiniboia, said Dr.

Gordon Engstrom retired from the board of directors of the Assiniboia Housing Authority after 28 years of dedicated service on October 24. The occasion was marked at the Eastside Court with cake and visiting.
