After a light rain Saturday night the Moose Mountain Marathon was up bright and early on Sunday, Aug. 12, ready to run. The fourth annual event included participants from across Canada and it was the first year for an international runner to attend.

A total of 82 calls for the week of Aug.3 through Aug.9 came to the Carlyle Detachment of the RCMP. Issues regarding mental health issues are not reported. Calls began on Aug. 3 with a message on the answering machine, reporting an erratic driver.

A couple of days ago I breathed a big sigh then headed out for a therapeutic massage. Every muscle in my back and shoulders ached but it was finished. The book was written.
