Starting May 2, 2011, all households in Canada will be receiving a yellow census package. The town of Carlyle reminds community members to complete this year's census in their March newsletter.

On April 5, junior and senior curlers from G.F.K. high school attended the Ford World Men's Curling Championship. Thirteen students, along with coaches and supervisors, made their way to Regina to take in the world-class curling.

The Moose Mountain Wild Pee Wee AA Hockey Team had a very successful season with an overall record of 46 wins, 3 ties and 10 losses. 6 of the losses were by one goal, meaning the Wild were only beat 4 times out of 59 games by more than one goal.

Last week I had the joy of spending time with long-time and brand-new friends in Saskatchewan.

A variety of calls and incidents kept Members of Carlyle's Finest busy from April 15 -21. There were false alarms at a home and business, where alarm systems were activated inadvertently.
