I can’t remember any time when music wasn’t a huge part of my life. Although she didn’t read music, I don’t think a day passed when Mom didn’t play the piano. We loved it.

The Carlyle Golf Club hosted its annual Members and Friends Windup Tournament recently, as the season is now drawing to a close.

Members of Carlyle Town Council gathered for their monthly meeting on Sept. 16. Council members brought forward the utility service charge bylaw. There won’t be an increase in 2021.

Relatively warm, dry conditions this week allowed farmers to make good harvest progress. Rainfall on the weekend caused some delays but many farmers have since returned to the field.
