Ron Paul came to Carlyle in 1983. He operated Carlyle Building Supplies until 2006. He sold the business in 2006. Ron involved himself in his community in many facets.

New fire hall for Carlyle

Years of hard work and fundraising are about to pay off, with the construction of the new fire hall for the rural municipality of Moose Mountain and the town of Carlyle. Fire Chief Don VanMeer said construction is slated to start next week.

Friday’s are “Chase the Ace” night and if one is going to catch this ace, you must travel to the King George Tavern in Manor. I have no problem finding the tavern, seems like I may have been here before.
