For some undefined reason of late I have been thinking about my grandfather and what his take on a modern farm would be.

The Arcola-Kisbey 4-H Beef Club will hold their annual Achievement Day Saturday, June 27 at the Arcola Fairgrounds, starting at 10:30 a.m. Club members will also attend the 4-H Regional Show at the Weyburn Fairgrounds June 29-July 1.

In a second you’re probably going to be thinking to yourself, “I wish she’d stop talking to those weird friends of hers…” A couple weeks ago I discussed free will and if we actually had it, prompted by questions and discussion with a friend.

It’s the day we all celebrate being Canadian on, July 1, and in Kisbey the volunteer Fire Department, Kisbey Rec Centre, Rebekahs, and the Elks will be holding their 4 th Annual Kisbey Canada Day BBQ. The fun starts at 10:30 a.m.

The Carlyle RCMP detachment had 46 calls to service between Friday, June 5 and Thursday, June 11. 911 calls RCMP responded to a 911 call from the Carlyle area reporting a fight. Members attended to a call from a Carlyle business regarding a skunk.

Gr. 10-12 Finals Congratulations to the G.F.K. Class of 2015 and thank you to everyone who helped out with their Graduation Banquet and Ceremonies.

The GFK Class of 2015 would like to extend an invitation to the public to attend their graduation ceremonies at 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 13, at the Carlyle Skating Rink.

Hubby's been on a murderous rampage this past week and I totally support him; in fact, I have congratulated him for bagging approximately three dozen targets in just one hunting expedition.
