Members of the Estevan Police Service (EPS) responded to a number of calls Thursday. Officers attended to a residence in the Willow Park Greens area and located a 44-year-old woman with warrants for her arrest.

A heat warning has been issued for the Estevan area for the first time this summer. Environment Canada issued the warning at 4:03 a.m. Thursday. Temperatures reaching 32 C, combined with overnight lows near 16 C, are expected for the next two days.

Due to COVID-19, the 4-H year ended a lot differently for the Carievale 4-H Beef Club Record books were judged by Laine Goertz Kaeding of Regina. In cloverbuds, Vanessa Cowan was first, Mardi Cowan was second and Arabella Buchanan came in third.
