The City of Estevan is among the first communities to receive funding through the provincial government's Municipal Economic Enhancement Plan (MEEP).

The Estevan Motor Speedway has announced that it is going to have a program on July 5 at 6 p.m., with spectators in the stands. The track held its season-opening program on June 13.

The Estevan and District Music Festival has announced it is providing bursaries to Grade 12s who entered the festival this year.
