Police in Alberta are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a former Bienfait resident. The Airdrie Rural RCMP issued a news release Monday regarding 51-year-old Wade Hientz, who is now listed as residing in Delacour, Alta.

The Southeast A’s U15 AAA baseball team split games on Saturday against the White Butte Broncos, winning 8-3 but losing 17-5. Both games were played in Alameda.

One person is facing multiple charges after members of the Estevan Police Service received a complaint of an assault and theft on Sunday. The investigation led police to believe a robbery had occurred.

The weather advisories that were in effect for southeast Saskatchewan have now been lifted. A severe thunderstorm watch, which was issued mid-afternoon Sunday, was lifted Sunday night. There is a risk for thunderstorms in the forecast for Monday.

It was the type of weekend that the Estevan area was looking forward to for 16 months.
