Perkins Street is open once again. The road was shut down Monday morning from Fourth Avenue South to First Street A for asphalt replacement. It’s the same stretch that was closed for several days last week due to water valve replacements.

A member of the Estevan RCMP arrested motorists travelling at a high rate of speed on the weekend. The officer was conducting regular patrols on Highway 18/39 on Saturday when he located two red cars traveling eastbound near Bienfait.

Students at Sacred Heart School/École Sacré Coeur will be returning to remote learning for the next two weeks after four cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed at the school since April 30.

A walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic is underway at the Estevan Church of God on Sunday. The clinic started at 10 a.m. and will continue to 6 p.m. Anyone who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine can attend. As of 1 p.m.
