The first time I came to Estevan was in 2013, and wow has this place changed since then. One may say, “Yeah, look at all the empty houses.” But that's not where I'm going.

The City of Estevan is hosting an auction for five available skyboxes inside Affinity Place. The auction is slated for July 15 at noon. Bidding starts at 12:15 p.m. Mack Auctions will lead this ‘auction by choice’ styled event.

The Carlyle RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred Monday morning on Highway 13, approximately one kilometre east of Manor. Officers were called to the collision at 8:05 a.m.

These five youngsters were not in training for the Great Balgonie Bed Races for 1983, they were simply having fun with their homemade three-wheeled bed, complete with mattress.

Estevan fire crews responded to a wildland fire last Thursday and also were busy with other duties. In the afternoon of July 1, firefighters were called out to a wildland fire occurring north of Estevan on a farm property.

Several local golfers were entered in the Maple Leaf Junior Tour golf event that was held at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club in Estevan on the weekend.

A local youth is facing several charges following a 911 call for a disturbance on July 4.

The long-time principal at the Carnduff Education Complex (CEC) has been recognized for his commitment to sport at the high school level.
