There are 254 new cases of COVID-19 and 299 recoveries to report in Saskatchewan on April 22, bringing the provincial total to 39,137 cases. There is one (1) new death reported in the 50 to 59 age group in the South Central zone.

Estevan firefighters were called to field and wildland fires on Wednesday. The first call came in at about 2 p.m. Crews responded to a field fire occurring south of the hamlet of Benson.

Tourism Estevan and the Souris Valley Museum have announced the relaunched Historical Walking Tour, as a redesign and replacement of the original 1980s Historical Walking Tour of Estevan.

The Estevan branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is accepting pre-orders for a take-out roast beef dinner. The initiative is aimed at engaging the community, while also raising some funds for further activities.

Since October, the Oxbow and District Recreation Board has hosted a virtual Chase the Ace draw on their Facebook page every Wednesday evening. Due to the abundance of community participation, the current jackpot sits at $26,259.
