It was a “unique” season for the Warm Welcome Kitchen, but board chair Wendy Godfrey says it was a really good year. The final supper for the season was on Thursday night.

The Estevan Oilfield Technical Society’s (OTS) inaugural Top Gun trap shooting event Friday proved to be a hit with those who work in the oilpatch.

A walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic is underway at the Estevan Church of God on Sunday. The clinic started at 10 a.m. and will continue to 6 p.m. Anyone who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine can attend. As of 1 p.m.

The Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) remained fully funded in 2020, with the ability to cover the future costs of all claims in the system. The WCB’s 2020 annual report was tabled in the provincial legislature Friday.

Perkins Street is open once again. The City of Estevan made the announcement Friday evening. The arterial road was closed from Tuesday morning to Friday evening, from Fourth Avenue to First Street A, for an underground valve replacement project.
