Emergency Preparedness Week (EP Week) is an annual event during the first full week of May; this year, it is held on May 2–8.

A walk-in COVID-19 immunization clinic will be held at the Estevan Church of God on Sunday. The clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Immunization is available to anyone who meets current vaccine eligibility.

There are 264 new cases of COVID-19 and 252 recoveries to report in Saskatchewan on April 30, bringing the provincial total to 41,098 cases.

When people give me cards or notes of encouragement, I put them in a file folder called “Nice Stuff.” After many years, that folder is so full that I am scared to take it out of the filing cabinet because it might explode all over my office.

The City of Estevan has notified residents in the Hillcrest area that water will be temporarily shut off on April 30, starting at 10 a.m. The shut-off will last for approximately 10 hours to complete repairs on Perkins Street.

Effective 8 a.m. on April 30, eligibility in the provincial age-based immunization program moves to age 40 and older, except for residents living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, where it remains at age 30 and older.

There are 205 new cases of COVID-19 and 244 recoveries to report in Saskatchewan on April 29, bringing the provincial total to 40,824 cases.

The Government of Saskatchewan is investing $1.5 million in the Community Airport Partnership (CAP) program as part of its 2021-22 provincial budget. This funding will provide improvements to 19 community airports around the province.
