A rally in downtown Estevan Saturday attracted about 40-50 people who were looking to see an end to pandemic-related lockdowns and restrictions. They met up at noon for a caravan of vehicles that travelled throughout the city.

Residents of Bienfait, Roche Percee and surrounding areas showed their support for the Bienfait Fire Department during a recent bottle drive.

Students in the Holy Family Roman Catholic Separate School Division are doing well in the mid-year academic report, and have responded positively to being back in school since September.

Members of the Estevan Police Service apprehended a couple of people on driving-related charges on Saturday. Police issued a 72-hour driver’s licence suspension to an Estevan man who had consumed drugs and then operated a motor vehicle.

An additional 8,766 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 133,828. To date, this is the highest one-day total for vaccine delivery in the province.
