RCMP investigating a vehicle theft
The Carlyle RCMP is investigating the recent theft of a vehicle. According to the Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network, a blue 2003 GMC Envoy was stolen sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. during the night of Jan. 18.

Estevan fire department had a busy year
The Estevan Fire Rescue Service (EFRS) remained steadily busy throughout 2020. Fire Chief Dale Feser shared the statistics for the department in an interview with the Mercury. Last year the EFRS receive 218 calls for service.
