Probably everyone in the community knows Lorna Coate, a petite grey-haired and incredibly friendly woman working at the pay window in McDonald's drive through in Estevan.

Estevan’s Cole Fonstad has been named a co-captain of the Everett Silvertips for the 2020-21 Western Hockey League season. Fonstad will share the captain’s duties with defenceman Gianni Fairbrother.

There are 136 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Feb. 16, bringing the provincial total to 26,829 cases. There were also 529 recoveries between Feb. 15 and 16. Limited data was reported on Feb. 15 due to the statutory holiday.
