Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Saskatchewan is saluting the franchisees of the Estevan McDonalds for their support over the years.

There are 143 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Feb. 15, bringing the provincial total to 26,693 cases. Due to the Family Day statutory holiday, more exact information was not released Monday.

While it’s still rather cold outside, Environment Canada has ended the extreme cold warning that was in effect for southeast Saskatchewan. The warning was lifted at 11:13 a.m. Monday morning.

There are 161 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Feb. 14, bringing the provincial total to 26,550 cases. Seven new cases are in the South East region, but none are in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan.

A portion of a busy road in Estevan is closed due to a water main break. The south lane for eastbound traffic in the 1200-block of 6th Street is shut down. The City of Estevan made the announcement in an advisory Sunday morning.

The administrators, staff and the Saskatchewan Health Authority have all done “an amazing job” so far in dealing with cases of COVID-19 in Holy Family schools, the board of trustees heard at their virtual monthly meeting on Wednesday evening.
