Carlyle RCMP Detachment is investigating a theft. In the early morning of Nov. 19, a building was broken into north of Arcola in the hills. A mini fridge, wiring and a few tools were stolen from the building.

Four residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died, the Government of Saskatchewan reports.

The Estevan Eclipse Downhole Solutions U18 AAA Bears lost 9-3 to the Notre Dame Hounds in the second half of a weekend home and home Sunday at Affinity Place. The two teams were scoreless until Notre Dame scored with 5:32 to play in the first period.

The City of Estevan has announced the closure of an intersection in northwest Estevan. The intersection of King Street and Hillcrest Drive will be shut down overnight and into tomorrow due to a water break.

Southeast Saskatchewan residents were once again very generous with their support for the Operation Christmas Child campaign in Estevan. A total of 706 shoeboxes were collected this year.

There are 236 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Nov. 22, bringing the provincial total to date to 6,473 cases. There are six new cases in the southeast region. None of the cases are in Southeast Zone 4, which includes Estevan.

The Estevan Bruins had all of the offence they needed in a five-minute span of the second period in a 3-1 victory over the Weyburn Red Wings Saturday night at Affinity Place.
