There are 227 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Jan. 21, bringing the provincial total to date to 21,338 cases. Thirteen Saskatchewan residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died.

The Estevan Fire Rescue Service (EFRS) was called to two separate vehicle rollovers Wednesday, with one resulting in a fatality. Early in the afternoon, a report of a single-vehicle accident came in.

Jessica Kelly, originally from Rocanville, started as the adult programming co-ordinator at the Estevan Public Library (EPL) in early January, and she said that so far everything has been "very good" and she is enjoying the Estevan facility.

Battling cancer is always tough, but when the burden is doubled by financial difficulties it often becomes unbearable. Estevan resident Amanda Jo Schoff learned it first-hand when she was helping her mother fighting uterine cancer.

Travel not recommended advisories that were in place for the southeast region have been lifted. They were in place earlier Wednesday for the Estevan truck bypass and some highways in the region. A wind warning that was in effect has also been lifted.
