In the early weeks and months of the pandemic, there were a lot of questions being asked. One of them was how would you have an event like the United Way Estevan’s telethon when there was so much unpredictability.

Two youths have been charged following an alleged assault in the RM of Estevan earlier this month. In the overnight hours of Oct. 9 and 10, the Estevan RCMP received a complaint of a crash involving a motorcycle.

There are 66 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Oct. 19, bringing the total to 2,396 cases. Twenty-five new cases are in the Saskatoon region, and 17 are in the north central.

The influenza vaccine is now available to Saskatchewan residents. The Government of Saskatchewan is encouraging everyone to get their flu shot this season to help prevent the spread of influenza.

It might have been a chilly day outside, but the support for the fourth annual Judy Martin Memorial Duck Derby provided some warmth for the Estevan Humane Society (EHS).
