A duo from Iowa driving a pair of classic trucks made a pit stop in the Energy City this week, as part of a long journey they’re making from their home state to Alaska.

It was a fitting ceremony to be held on June 6.

The 22nd annual Assiniboia Spring Fever Lotto was drawn on May 28. The lottery proceeds will be used to construct a new skating arena for the town of Assiniboia. To date, it has raised $4,000,000 for the rink project.
