EDITORIAL: Rules sometimes need to be changed

People need to grieve in different ways, and often people want to remember and honour the memory of a passed loved one by caring for their grave site, including the placing of flowers on it to beautify the site.

The 2012 Weyburn Wheat Festival attracted people from far and wide and the Heritage Village Days saw a large increase in visitors. The estimated attendance was approximately 1,200, while only 750 signed the registries this year.

Derek Foster, Canada's youngest retiree, will be speaking at the Weyburn Public Library on August 11 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. During his talk, Foster will explain how his investment strategy allowed him to retire at such an early age.
