The Relay For Life, one of the year's major fundraisers for the Southeast Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society, will be held in River Park on Friday and Saturday, June 10 and 11.

Members of the business community were invited to brainstorm during a focus group at the Weyburn and District United Way's annual general meeting on Wednesday night.

Weyburn Concert Series is presenting their fifth concert of the season on Thursday, March 24. The Foothills Brass Quintet will be performing at the Weyburn Comprehensive School Cafetorium, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Industrial Electric is nominated for a 2011 Torch Award from the Better Business Award. They are nominated in the Industrial Products and Services, and awards will be presented at the Queensbury Centre in Regina on March 22.
