Weyburn author Anne Lazurko shared some of her personal experiences in research for her second novel, “What is Written on the Tongue”

A special tribute was held for volunteer Lynn Kot prior to the concert with Ken Lavigne on Tuesday night.

On stage, the audience bears witness to musicians who improvise, interpret their repertoire and blend their voices together in harmonies.   

The precision and level of energy is just spectacular and will leave you astounded by the driving force, the contemporary blues, and the soulful ballads of Michael Charles.

“I don’t pretend to sing like Elton John or Paul McCartney, but it’s my own style of their music. I expect people will be mouthing along with many of the songs,” said Lavigne.

“This is a family, Halloween-themed event with decorations that will be hung throughout the complex,” said Sedor.

The community theatre group will be performing a Norm Foster production with a cast of four to six.

Audition spots are limited, so those interested are encouraged to registers as soon as possible.
